About

I came to the U.S at the age of eight from Buenos Aires, Argentina, with little knowledge of the English language (and no intention of ever performing). It wasn't until freshman year of High School when I decided to audition for my first stage show: a musical I'd never heard of called Bye Bye Birdie. I didn't know the first thing about theater and to be frank, I only auditioned because my guidance counselor expressed concern that I didn't belong to any school clubs or sports teams. I had never acted before and to this day, I'm not sure why (out of all the clubs I could have chosen from), singing showtunes on-stage was the best pick I could make. But it was and I'm thankful it turned out that way.

My love for theater only grew. Performing became a catalyst for a creative spirit I didn't know I had. I quickly found myself enrolled in every arts elective you could think of: from photography and video editing, to acting, technical theater and writing. These classes nurtured my creative identity and fueled my love for the performing arts.

I went to college and I majored in the one thing I truly loved. I graduated in 2015 from Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater.

My college experience was a four-year extravaganza packed with long tech days, new scripts, outstanding friendships and greasy diner food, student films, Dunkachinos, and truly some of the best years of my life. I took part in a semester-long independent study at the prestigious Circle in the Square Theater School, in Broadway, NY, snagged an Irene Ryan nomination from the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival, and even managed to advance as a Regional Finalist at competition later that year (boy, was that a good day).

After graduation, I took my faithful optimism and my love for this industry and did what most of us do with an acting degree: venture off into the void and start auditioning. I began self-submitting myself to projects, most of which were unpaid at the time, only to get my foot in the door (even though that door was often shut, as it is for most artists). I was persistent on finding a way and building my own path, (slamming my way through those doors if I had to). I eventually landed representation, started booking some cool gigs, found myself on different types of sets and began to meet the most wonderful people.

For the last ten years, I’ve continued to work as an actor, expanding my passions and working niches in casting, producing, content development, writing, teaching and project management. I audition when opportunities present themselves and try to remind myself everyday what a privilege it is to be a creative and to live creatively.
